Question Job Papers!

We buy a few papers every week looking for jobs, they are getting thinner
& thinner!

Apart from online and agencies and general networking, has anyone got any
other ideas about job hunting?

Thanks

Judyxxx

CV Match is good.

http://www.jobstoday.co.uk/

Jobs Today offers CV Match which is where you register your CV free online and when an advertiser places an ad that meets your skills they get sent your CV.

Perhaps that's worth a try?

Hi,

Just wondered if speculative letters to companies might be worth a go. From memory your DH is in IT (outsourcing). I know a little about that industry and I wonder if some companies might take an direct approach. i.e letter of introduction including your CVs.

I would suggest smaller organisations where you are more likely to be able to get a direct manager rather than be fielded out by HR.

Could also be worth going to IT fayres and picking up some business cards from exhibitors.

I hope your Dh gets something soon.
