Default Scan - and it's a...

I had my anomoly scan at the Fetal Medicine Centre and they were absolutely brilliant there. We went in dead on 2pm and the doctor performing the scan was so thorough, we saw all the bits of the brain, heart etc. and everything was as it should be. She thoroughly checked the placenta and the blood flow through it and said it was a good size and position. She said she thought that my placental abruption last time was most probably connected to the blood clot I had at 6 weeks, so fingers crossed this time it will be fine.

We found out that it is definitely a boy, so Jack will have a playmate to play cars with. After finding out last time that it was 75% likley to be a boy, I was hoping it would be, as with a nearly 5 year age gap, I think Jack will have far more in common with a brother than a sister and they can go up the pub, football matches etc. when they are older lol.

Love Debbiexx

Great news Debbie. I just love little boys and if we are lucky enough to have another child, deep down I'll wish it is another boy. So happy for you, your Dh and Jack.
