Smile Tuesday's Update!

Good Morning Ladies!

Nice start to the day, got a visit from our favourite Auntie (you'd think she'd
be bored of our house by now!).

Going to be cold & snowy here this weekgoodness knows what our
fuel bills will be!

Lovely news about dear Paula!

Thinking of our lovely June today, sincerely hope all goes smoothly!

No exciting plans, just work,work

Have a good day all!

Judyxxx

Morning,

I am working at home today as we are walking Megan's class to the local Sports College for a multi-skills PE session this afternoon, and it's qiucker for me if I'm already here, rather than have to rush home in the car first!

It is bitterly cold here again today, the winter has taken hold again after a lovely Springlike few days. No snow here at the moment, am hoping that it stays away from us!

Thinking of June today, hope all goes well for her.

Have a big grin on my face over Paula's news too. They are such a lovely family though, the adoption panel would have been bonkers to have done anything else except approve them !

Lisa, someone else commented on a post that your work won't give you compassionate leave??????? My goodness, is that even legal
I am so angry for you, that is just absolutely incredible!!!

Sharon.

Morning all

It's a lovely sunny day.. but I bet it's cold out there!!

I'm going to pop into town this morning. I'm due to go away this weekend, for my annual girlie weekend away. After much persuasion from my mum, I am still going to go (although it really doesn't feel right). It's all paid for, and I feel i'll be letting my friends down if I don't
My parents are looking forward to having Poppy for the weekend, and I guess it will take their minds off things for a bit!

This afternoon, I have an appt which I must keep, and then i'm due to be in work at 4.30pm. I'm not sure whether to go or not? Due to the work I do (debt collections) it can sometimes be quite 'nasty' and i'm sure if someone says the wrong thing to me, i'll burst into tears...
But, after tonight, i've got pre-booked annual leave, and am not back until next Tuesday, so maybe I should make the effort...

The funeral has been booked for Friday 19th

Anyway, onto happier things.. i'm thrilled for Paula, it's lovely, lovely news.
And of course thinking of June today..

Sharon- You only get compassionate leave for parents, siblings or your own children I didn't go in yesterday, and explained that I hadn't slept properly and had a migraine
Have a lovely time with Megans class this afternoon

Judy- Everytime I think about the fuel bills, I feel a bit queasy

Lisa xx

Hi all

We had a really cold walk this morning but the good thing is the mud is frozen at the moment!

Tooth still sore (I had horrendous tooth ache all over the weekend and went to the dentist yesterday where I had a big filling and a bigger bill!!), but at least its now a dull ache and not the horrible throbbing pain it was. Quite honestly given the choice between childbirth and toothache I would take childbirth every time!!

So pleased for Paula and thinking of June too today as she has her op. Little Cameron is one very lucky boy to be getting a lovely new family.

Not much happening here today, bit of baking later and the usual pile of paperwork to plough through.

Hope we don't get any more snow it cost me a small fortune last time.

Love to all
Liz

Judy

Yes I know EXACTLY what you mean, thankfully we had a few extra bits of business so on the dog side we ended up making the same amount of money we would normally do. Its Dave's work which has really suffered, he has just paid his rent, VAT due at the end of the month, and he is now working flat out to get the work out the door to get the money in to pay suppliers etc.

I have totally changed my opinion of snow and absolutely hate it with a passion now

Hope you are catching up lost ££ too!!

Love
Liz
