Morning all,
Redeeming myself after last month's very late start to this thread ![]() Must confess that other than magazines and some boring dog behaviour papers I have not read this month (unless you can count upteem reads of the Gruffalo, John Joe and the big hen, Thomas the tank engine !!). My Harry Patch biography remains barely touched, I think I may leave it for a while and ease myself back into reading books with the story of Endal, the amazing assistance dog. What is everyone else reading? Love Liz xx

Moving on to the new Douglas Kennedy one Leaving the World. Dont have as much time for reading between Leo and the dogs taking up all my free time but can usually manage a couple of chapters before falling asleep! Keep up the reading if you can........love to hear what everyone else is reading. Lil xx |

I'm finding it so hard to find anything at the moment that I can stick with, not really like me.
Think I'm finding it too hard to stop thinking of work so cant really get into anything.

I'm reading a book called Rumour by Angela Lawrence. It is written by a woman who lives in the village (a former BBC journalist) and is self published. It's extra interesting because she has set it in the local area and did lots of research about the affect of the first world war round here (the time in which the book is set). Quite enjoying it. Liz, have you ever read "The Bad Dog's Diary", a friend bought it for my birthday a year or so ago and it was very funny.
