Hello, is there any chance you can fall pregnant after going through the menopause. I havent had a period for 13 months now and I am actively having unprotected sex.
I was having cramps and milk coming from one of my nipples and I am eating more because I am hungry all the time. I took a test before and there is a very faint line. My daughter can see it too. What do you think, could this just be the effects of the menopause, many thanks, Jacqui. x x x x |

Once a menopausal woman has gone twelve months without a period, the transition is generally considered complete and she enters post-menopause. At this stage, her ovaries have essentially stopped producing estradiol and progesterone, she is no longer ovulating, and can no longer become pregnant.
...........although you are 'just over the 12 months' so you never know! ![]() Judyxxx

A line surely can only appear if there are the right hormones present to trigger it, perhaps you have had a blood test now?
Hope all is OK
