Default Rash on arms and back of neck

Hi Ladies, Just wondered if any of you can help me? Emily has developed a rash of multiple red spots over the back of her neck and down her arms. The ones on her arms come and go but never quite leave, the ones on her neck now look really red and are spreading round the front.

They dont appear to bother her at all. I havent changed my washing powder or given her anything new to eat and shes not using bubble bath etc

Some of my friends have said its excema, but I thought that was dry? and would leave if we put aqueous cream on it, but this seems persistent.

Any ideas? should I take her to the drs?

Thanks, Katie

it might be worth a trip just to have an opinion on it, at the end of the day it doesnt hurt to get another point of view, thats what doctors are paid for,

I'm not one for running to the doctors with my lot on a whim but when its something I'm not sure about, it doesn't hurt just for someone to take a look at it,

have you thought about showing the rash to pharmacist at the local chemists they are usually very well informed and might give you an idea of what it is,

i hope you find the cause of it soon

love ann

Hi there

Think it might be worth a quick trip to the doctors as there are a lot of nasty bugs around at the moment.

Don't want to scare you but measles is doing the rounds at the moment as well..!

Good luck

Sofia has a permanent rash but is dry so with Sofia it is ezcema.

Could be viral wouldnt hurt to get it checked.
Will keep an eye on Sofia just incase it is something catching but atm she only has her usual dry skin rash.

Glad to hear that it has settled down.

My Emily has a little rash that appeared yesterday and I'm keeping a close watch on it. It is only two small patches - one on her upper chest and one on the nape of her neck. Dp thinks it might be heat rash.

Have already carried out the glass test - so not meningititis.
