Smile Chocolate, what's your favorite

I managed to get a dark chocolate flake yesterday which were made for a short time and most shops don't have now. There is very little choice in dark chocolate bar's but they always seem to sell quickly when they release limited edition's so it got me to thinking what do we like on here?

Freak here

Hannah loves chocolate, especially the dark stuff, but I don't like chocolate much at all and can't remember the last time we had any, not sure it was even this year! When we get it for Hannah, we get Green and Blacks 70% dark, but we've had a bar in the cupboard for ages and it's only just had a few nibbles off the top.

Hi,

I don't eat much chocolate - more of a savoury fan however I love white choc - especially M&S Mountain bars (same as white toblerone), dream bars, milky bars etc. If I am going for milk it has to be Galaxy mmmmmmmmmmm can't get it out here. Can't stand Dark chocolate as I find it bitter.

Cadburys Mint Crisp! Without the shadow of a doubt!

I loved when I first tasted it as a child in South Africa but when I moved to the UK in '92, was horrified to find there was no mint crisp! Imagine my delight when I saw a bar in Woolworths in Wales around 1994 which was made by Caburys in Ireland.

Caburys now make it in the UK and I have been a happy bunny ever since. Not that I eat it much, but it is nice to know it is available for those days when I have a choccie attack!

I absolutely hate Galaxy chocolate or anything else made by Mars. Their chocolate it is way too sweet and sickly tasting for me!

I love dark chocolate, the darker the better. For a long time you couldn't buy flakes in Canada but some shops carry them now although not the dark ones. If I do see the dark ones I usually buy a few and put them in the freezer. I have to have a wee bite of chocolate every day or else I am a bear. I can make a bar last a few weeks as I only have a small piece each day. DP doesn't know how I do it, if he has one bite then he has to scoff the whole thing but I can just nibble at it and make it last forever.

Love Gillian xo

I voted Milk chocolate, anything Cadburys is yummy. I have to say I am particularly fond of whole nut - mouth watering now at the thought!! DP's mum bought us a bar of Sainsburys own brand the other day and it just wasn't the same.

I admire anyone who can just take a bit off a bar and leave the rest, I am terrible got to eat the whole thing. Although sometimes I can go for weeks without bothering with any chocolate.

Can I just sneak in a chocolate related story here (and confession too ). Years ago, before children and when I had a brain I worked in an office and often was very busy had no time to go out and get lunch so would eat at my desk while I worked. The guy in the next office to me would seriously pee me off as he would wait til I left my desk and then nick half my crisps or choccie bar. Well one day I decided enough was enough, so I saved my Cadbury wrapper and being very naughty left it open on the desk with half a bar of choccie sitting in it, asking to be eaten! Well it worked and this bloke nicked my choccie. I had the last laugh though when his wife rang in the next morning so say he was off sick - he had the trots - as I had cunningly substituted laxative choc for cadburys!!

Funnily enough he never again took things off my desk after that.

Love
Liz
