Default Foundation

My lovely Prescriptives foundation is very nearly all gone so need to get some more. I had managed to get that cheaply, but need to find another more economical option.

Any recommendations, preferable one with a decent range of shades.

I was going to say my skin colour has a slight yellow tinge but thought it made me sound like a Simpson

Good old No 7 Alexandra, they do some fab ones for us mature ladies or if you can splash out a bit, Clinique Super Balanced.

I am still managing to get away with tinted moisturiser, as I had a tan from Oz, but even that has faded now, been frozen off probably, so will be back to a bit more cover until summer, when ever that decides to happen, should be about November

Question

Alexandra,

Which prescriptives *foundation do you use?
I am looking at their tinted one, I am very fair skinned/green eyed, any idea
which shade would suit me best?

I use their Magic liquid powder which is fab and lasts ages!

I am going to *order mine from QVC and then you get to try it!!

TBO I don't usually wear foundation, I use two types of loose powder to get
the coverage I need.

Hugs udyxxx

My favourite at the moment is the Max Factor Age Renew foundation. I usually find that Max Factor is too orangey for me, but the ivory one is pale enough without an orange tinge.

If you look on some of the main websites (Max Factor, L'Oreal etc) you can often send for a free sample.

Oooh Liz

Sorry but that did make me laugh, I have never ever asked one of those Barbie dolls for advice, probably why I have £££s worth of mistakes sitting in a drawer LOL

I also like Clinique, I find it lasts for ages, plus in the summer I can get away with a no. 7 tinted moisturiser.

Love
Liz
