Night time coughing

I think we had something similar. Gianna had a cough solid from Jan. through April. Only now is it gone.

I chalk it up to the nursery. My ped. told me children in nursery get 12 colds a year and so far its been true for us.

We gave her a pillow to raise her head and have never removed it.

Also, a drink of water seemed to stop Gianna's coughing fits which really only got bad bad at night. She got used to it though and still wakes up occasionally for it but I don't mind. She used to cough so hard I was always afraid she would vomit. With the water, she would take a drink and go back to bed as if she never truly woke up. It seemed to be our only help.

To me four months of cough seems ridiculous. You have my sympathy!
