Big grin She's here...

Hi

Sorry for some reason I couldn't post here so just had to add to the thread asking where on earth I was !!! Sorry to worry anyone

As you have probably all read by now...

Ava Grace was safe in my arms by 2.15am on 15th July 2008...6lb 12oz and 52cm with a head of almost black hair and (in my opinion!!!) very beautiful!!!

Induced in the end but not as bad as I expected and we are over the moon.

Feeding is proving interesting....is 1 hour 15 mins and still not satisfied normal ??? what else can I try or does anyone have any fab tips ??? Speaking to the Midwife tomorrow for more advice too !

Off to grab 5 mins rest ! but can't complain....loving every second of our new little pink bundle

Back soon...

Walt

Hi Walt

It is really good to hear everything is going great

Your daughter sounds gorgeous and what a beautiful name.

It could be that your little bundle loves the closeness and sounds like she is feeding well.

Take care and grab some rest when you can

How lovely to hear all is well, I think the long feeding is normal, they soon become more "efficient" at it as they grow. Often its a comfort thing too.

When you get a minute we would love to see some pics.

Congratulations again!

Love
Liz

Congrats again Walt.

Feeding does seem a bit short in between, are you breastfeeding or bottle?
