this is very good, would be better to tell if they can find out much earlier and then I don't think it would be so traumatic when making the decision...

When I was expecting Jake I know that they had developed a test that was a smear test and was said to be very accurate as some of the babys cells were collected around the cervix. The test was being trialled in Australia and they said would probably be available in the uk in a few years time.
I don't know what has happened about that particular technique, but if a blood test can be as accurate as an amnio then it can only be a good thing. June x
