Default Monday Chat!

Morning Ladies!

Start of a new week, and an odd week for me... today is the only day I'm at work, as Daniel is having his eye operation tomorrow morning, it has come round quickly, hasn't it!

I'm not going to go on about it, but if you would spare a little thought for us tomorrow, that would be just lovely. I will post and let you know how we get on.

Megan has brownies tonight and Dave has a governor's meeting at the school, but apart from that not much else going on...

Isn't it beautiful today, very bright and sunny, but there is definitely a cold bite still in the air.

Enjoy your day.

Love,
Sharon.

Morning Sharon,

You are a starting the daily thread everyday!

Of course we will send positive vibes for your ds, hope all goes well & that
he recovers quickly (bless him).

Yes! it's a lovely bright sunny day here too, but still chilly!

Day off today so just about to set the ironing board up!

Good news regarding dp's thyroid meds, we got a call on Friday & his
original medication which comes from the states is back in production, so he
collected some on Saturday!
(Huge Huge sigh of relief!).

Hope Monday is a fab one!

Judyxxx

Morning all

Lovely and sunny here today but very cold.

Goodness me Sharon I know you said when Daniel's op was but I was still shocked to read its tomorrow. Millions of hugs your way, I know how you will be feeling but he will be in good hands

Judy - so glad DP has his meds, I did read last week about the supply problems and was really concerned, but had a manic week last week so hardly posted.

Well its work for me in a bit, Daniel is still asleep, he has been really poorly with a horrible cold and cough which has made him sick quite a bit too, hoping he wakes feeling better.

Not much to report, work, sending off a couple of eBay bits, banking to do, etc etc, nothing exciting.

Julie - what DVD are you watching? Its ages since we have done that, sat as a family and watched a film, think I might suggest that for an evening this week.

Have a good day all,

Love
Liz

Morning all

I've promised myself that I won't linger on the computer this morning.. too much to do! All the bills are late and the ironing that I started 4 days ago still isn't finished!!

Had a lovely day yesterday at my Aunts, my family all get on so well and we just laughed and laughed all afternoon which was lovely!!
Little sad moment when I got home, and cried that my nan hadn't been there laughing with us it was a month yesterday since she died.. how is that possible?

This afternoon I think we'll do some craft bits, then Poppy wants to watch Monsters Inc (which is her new favourite)
And i've got work later

Sharon- I will be thinking of Daniel tomorrow, I hope he isn't fretting too much about going in. Big hugs for a very worried mummy
Judy- Fab news about the meds!! Big relief for you both
Liz- Hope Daniel feels better soon.. it's just horrid when LO's are poorly
Julie- Hope you and Faye enjoy your evening

Lisa xx

Just a quickie from me as still at work and still got a mountain of work to get through.

Sharon, Daniel will be just fine tomorrow ... its you that will be in bits. I know all will be fine but good luck vibes anyway.

Judy, good news from you, hope you DP is back to his normal self very soon (I was going to say in rude health - rather appropriate for you two).

Hi all,

Long work day for me. It's my baby's birthday (he's 4)..can't believe how the time has flown. He recently wished for a birthday every day and it feels like he's getting his wish as we had a family party yesterday, nursery party today, playgroup party tomorrow and his 'friends' party in a softplay area in a few weeks.

Had a real Monday feel at work - just struggling to get motivated. Might have something to do with me meeting a friend at the weekend who's literally a millionaire so work isn't an necessity. she has a very interesting life so I really enjoy when we get together.

Right, must get to bed early tonight

Ahhhhhhhh Elaine,

Ds 4! Bless him, I bet he's a real little man now!

As for your friend, what a lovely attitude to have, no hint of the green-eyed
monster!
