Default Epilators

Hi Ladies

I keep toying with the idea of buying an Epilator - haven't used one for about 10 years (because it hurt so much ) but time these days is short and haven't got time to keep shaving the old legs so was wondering does anyone use them, if you do does it hurt a lot - tis only going to be done on my legs, I am not brave enough to do anywhere else .

I have done a bit of research on the t'internet and and they seem a bit £££ so don't want to waste my money if I can avoid it .

Any advice welcome
J

Hello!

They are sooooooooo much better than they were!

Plus once you start using them you kinda get used to the pain!

I use one for my legs & they are fab!

An up-to-date one would be even more pain-free!

Look on the reviews at Amazon.

HTH!

Hi Judy

I did have a look ta - the Braun Silk-epil gets good reviews on Amazon. There were about 60+ plus reviews and it got 4.5 stars (I think) and most people seemed really pleased with it, which seems good to me.

I just need to bite the bullet now and get one ordered .

Thanks again for your help.

Did you bite the bullet and buy one? I too have the silk epil and also had one many moons ago. I find the bit on my knees really painful and often still shave just my knees but the rest of my leg is fine.

Tip I was told when I first went back to one was to shave my legs first and then start to use the epilator a couple of days later so it only picked up one hair at a time. Shorter hairs seem to be less painful although that could be in my head only!

I have used it under arm but that really hurt a lot as the skin was not as taught and it sometimes caughty the skin up too.

I do love the fact that to do my legs now is once every four or so days and done in minutes
