No AF for almost 7 months now.

Well I must be going through Menopause. No AF since Oct 2010. I have no real symptoms. I am 47 now. I may get a little warm at night but thats about it really. Do I have to go through a whole 12 months of this? What happens after the 12 months, is that it, is it all over?
