Sorry i'm too late with this, but thought i'd chip in anyway
 Usual spend is £5-£10 depending on if it's a close friend. I try to 'stockpile' presents if I see anything on special offer, this is a good idea once they start school, as there's always parties! Especially things they won't grow out of (art stuff etc) Girls are easier to buy small things for imo, as you can get necklaces, hair accessories, bags etc I struggle with boys! Glad Sam enjoyed the party  Lisa xx
