Hello Sharon and Alexandra
Sam at preschool today and Sophie just dosed off to sleep, so having a quick relax with the internet before I ponder what I will cook for dinner tonight.
I have an 'away day' with my work tomorrow (although I am still on maternity leave). I went in for a meeting a couple of weeks ago and agreed to a change to my role on my return. In the short term it is good but in the medium term I would consider both the new position and its salary grading to be vulnerable to restructure. However, if it keeps me employed for another 18 months then hopefully the country will be climbing out of this recession, so if I needed to look for other work then, it wouldn't be so bad. Main thing at the moment is to keep in the employment you've already got, I think.
Hope everyone has a good day.
