Weekly chatter - Mon 9th July

Hi all

Where does the time go? Had parties all weekend last weekend, it was a struggle to fit in watching a bit of tennis here and there. Working up in London yesterday and today (which I loathe because of the travel), my day off tomorrow though thank goodness and Dh and I are going to the theatre in London to see Singing in the Rain in the evening which we are looking forward to.

Hope sports day wasn't rained off for those that had it yesterday. We were so lucky as ours was last Thursday and it was lovely and sunny. I am fed up with this weather though, especially when they said it's going to last another two weeks which will completely ruin my birthday weekend when we have a huge meet up with family at Woburn Safari Park and a meal out with friends on the day itself which is in a house with beautiful grounds which we had hoped to walk around and let the kids play outside

Oh well, I hope everyone has a good day and I hope you managed to get some sleep Alexandra. Rhianna has won yet another writing competition at school (we are so proud) so we are going to watch her read it out tonight in front of some judges who will be judging her story along with others.
