Default Julien is sleeping through the night

Julien is 2 and half months old and has been sleeping through the night for about a week. It seemed to happen over night. He had been sleeping in bed with us and waking once during the night to feed. One evening last week, he was extremely cranky in the evening so DH rocked, swaddled him and put him to sleep in his crib. That was around 8 PM. All night I kept thinking he was going to get up anytime so I didn't sleep much. Well, he didn't stir until 4 AM. I never saw him eat so vigorously (good thing because my boobs felt like they were carrying a gallon of milk). Since then, we have put him down around 10 or 11 and he sleeps until 6 or 7. Truthfully, I think he sleeps more soundly in his own bed. We usually wake up a bit before him so he doesn't have to stir long before we get him for his morning guzzle.

Hi Karen,

Ah, bliss, a lovely night's sleep! I hope he keeps this up for you. I loved co-sleeping and it was me that found it harder to sleep separately than Hannah did - she was absolutely fine with it, just like Julien.

Love,
Janice

It makes such a difference if you get a good nights sleep doesn't it.

I am not bragging, honestly, but Daniel has slept thru since about 4 weeks so I feel very very lucky indeed. Only thing is, he hardly sleeps in the day, mind you, I know which I would prefer!!

How about some new pics of Julien???

Love
Liz

Ooooh, you show-off

Arlo doesn't sleep much in the day and wakes sooo many times at night. Of course, it's because he is so totally brainy he can't switch of ...well that's my story and I'm sticking to it

Seriously, though, how I LONG for a good night's sleep! Well done Julien, and get your mum to let us see a few pics as Liz said
