Default Almost All Clear

Well I finally had Lily-May's scan results today!

She has no kidney damage which is brilliant news.

Her kidneys do have a ratio of 60%:40% in size but as they are functioning well together they do not need to worry about it at the moment.

She can come off her trimethoprim (she has been on this since January) and until she fgets another urine infection we do not have to take her back.

The consultant did say that as she comes off the trimethoprim she may get urine infections and they will deal with it then.

We have to watch Lily's diet as apparently when she is constipated it can cause urine infections. We also have to make sure she drinks plenty of clear fluids and if she gets a temperature at any time we need to rule out a urine infection immediately.

So happy all around.

Love Jackie x x x

What a relief!! I'm really pleased for you.

Ciaran has his test on Monday next week. I'm soooo not looking forward to it, I hope he gets a good result too.
