This sounds like a good alternative for women at risk of ovarian hyperstimulation. Also it's cheaper, and the fact it takes less time is good: I had problems getting time off work discreetly/shifts to fit round all the appointments. It's a shame it is less effective than standard IVF, though.
Personally I never had any problems with IVF side-effects but I was just lucky that way.
