ok everyone, tell me where I'm going wrong.

I have had a bout 8 interviews since the last job ended in May. Most people on here know the history behind that, and whilst I don't tell the interviewers the full truth, I give an amended version of it. the reference they have given me is basic and they are not allowed to tell prospective empolyers about their **** up either, so.. I have always got equal or above relevant qualifications for the jobs I'm going for, I have loads of relevant experience as well. All the feedback i get is along the lines of 'you interviewed very well...very good answers,..lovely person..' etc, so WTF is going on? Whay aren't I gettingthe jobs?

Can anyone enlighten me? What do I need to do????
