babies check up

i would ask when their 6 week check up is but as we have gone past that i guess it was the 8 week check up now,
im wondering if its later than that.
in the past the doctors have always contacted me for the check up of baby and myself, with alex it was when he was 7 weeks, allan took him as i had a fear of the post natal exam, only ever had one with my first baby,

but this time as im ttc i thought i would bite the bullet so to speak and go, also because ive read from other's on here now that they no longer do the internal exam,

anyway i was won dering do i need to contact the doctors or do i wait for them to get hold of me
